Support Team Kol Tikvah at Relay For Life Friday April 27
following Shabbat Services
This year, over
1.4 million Americans will hear the words 'You have cancer'. We know too many
people who have been touched by cancer, and that is why Kol Tikvah has joined
the American Cancer Society on a mission to save lives and create a world with
more birthdays by participating in the Relay For Life of Parkland this Friday
night, April 27th at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
At Relay For Life, we celebrate loved ones who have won their battle against
cancer, remember those who are no longer with us, and fight back against this
disease that touches so many. At Relay, teams of people camp out and take
turns walking or running around a track to raise money and awareness (all ages
are welcome). Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all
times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight
events, but the public can attend in support from 6 PM to 11 PM.
Kol Tikvah is determined to make a difference, and we hope you will join us by
making a donation today and/or joining our TEAM. We will be Relaying following
services this Friday night. The American Cancer Society is saving lives by
helping people stay well, by helping people get well, by finding cures, and by
fighting back. Are you ready to join the fight?
Please, support us in our efforts by using this
link to visit our Kol
Tikvah web page and make a donation. Every dollar raised brings us one dollar
closer to a cure.
Thank you
so much for your support. Together, we ARE
saving lives and creating a world with more birthdays!
