Biletsky is very excited to be joining the Kol Tikvah team as Interim Youth
Director. This is Lauren's second year at Congregation Kol Tikvah. She has been
Youth Advisor for two years.
Lauren has an Associate's Degree in Exceptional Student
Education and is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree in Public
Administration. Lauren has been an Early Childhood Teacher for 7 years and has
been working for NFTY as a Youth Professional for 4 years. Lauren began her
career in Jewish Youth at Temple Beth Orr in Coral Springs. There, she taught in
the Early Childhood Center, was the Director of Camp Yeladim, and taught
Religious School. After three years, Lauren was asked to join the Youth
Department as the Middle School and High School Youth Director.
Lauren left work in the religious sector for one year to take classes full time
and to experience teaching in the secular arena. A few months later, Lauren was
asked to come in as a "part-time" Youth Advisor at CKT; which she was very
excited about.
After working with CKT's Youth, Families, and Staff, Lauren
knows she has truly found a synagogue she can call home. Lauren is very excited
to use her past experiences as a Teacher, Camp Director, and Youth Director to
help create and implement fun and diverse programming for kids and teens of all
ages.
