General Information & Policies 2010

General Information:

  • There will be no reserved or assigned seats at any of our services, so come early to get preferred seating.

  • There will be no formal break-the-fast meal

  • Please refrain from leaving your seats when the Ark is open.  Please refrain exiting or entering the Sanctuary when the Torah Scrolls are out of the Ark of during the Sermon.

  • If your child does not attend our supervised holiday activities, your child must remain with you throughout the service. Children will not be permitted to be on the school campus unsupervised. We appreciate your cooperation to ensure the safety and security of your children.

 Member Tickets:

  • All members in good standing (that is, members who are current in their membership dues and financial obligations) receive tickets to our service. Tickets will arrive soon by mail.

  • If you have an outstanding balance, please contact Rachel Horowitz, our Controller, to make payment arrangements so we may have the pleasure of praying together at services this year.

  • Family membership entitles the household to have a maximum of two adult tickets. Tickets are not transferable.

 Guest Tickets & Youth Tickets

  • Every person attending services will be required to show their ticket at the main entrance.  This will be enforced at all services over the High Holiday period.

  • Tickets for member’s guest are available at $136 each.

  • We provide a reduced cost to member’s guest ages 65 and over at $88 each.

  • We also provide reduced cost tickets for youth ages 18 months to 17 years of age at $36 each.

  • If you are in need of youth or guest tickets, please complete the online form or visit Rachel Karlen in the main office no later then Friday, September 3, 2010.

 Childcare

Parents with children ages 18 months – Pre-K can sign their children up for a special program attended by our ECC teachers who offer activities to the High Holidays including arts and crafts, music and short stories. There is a $36 (Members only) or $50 (Non-Members) fee per child. Please complete the online form or visit Rachel Karlen in the main office no later then Friday, September 3, 2010.

 Children Services

We will be offering a range of opportunities for our youth. Our Director of Youth and Family Programming, Megan Usow, and our Director of Life Long Learning, Debbie Hafetz will be working together to offer a rotation of age appropriate services and actives for those ranging in age from Kindergarten through 12th grade from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both days of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur. Parents will need to register their children in advance to ensure a proper amount of supervision. Megan, Debbie, members of the Religious School faculty, and teens will be supervising all programming.  Accessibility

  • Ushers will be available to assist you for both services and other needs. Please follow their directions when entering to ensure that the decorum of the service is not disturbed.

  • For accessibility to the Main Sanctuary and Service seating, please use the parking lot entrance. Please follow the parking attendants instructions to ensure everyone find a safe parking spot in the spots that are open.

  • Overflow parking will be available at the Municipal Parking lot adjacent to our property to the south and in the vacant lot just north of the Temple. Look for parking attendants to assist you. Feel free to drop your party off under the portico & then park your car.
