9th Grade Post B'nai Mitzvah Classes

EJ Leizerman, a valued congregant, uses his background as a Religious School teacher and a law school professor to explore Jewish ethics and morals.  He presents the students with actual legal cases and discusses the ethics from both a universal and a specifically Jewish perspective.  Students have the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills and their beliefs to real life questions being faced by today's society.  In the second half of the year, the 9th graders spend two days with Rabbi and Linda Boxman at a Love and Sexuality Retreat where they learn everything Judaism has to say about this most important aspect of life.
